Education & Employment Skills

Trinity House meets with residents regularly during keyworking sessions and general discussions to explore their needs. There is focus on encouraging education – literacy, numeracy and computer (IT) literacy. The aim is for residents to gain and increase their confidence and helping them gain an increased motivation and skills to move as speedily as possible towards an integrated and rewarding life.

Trinity House maintains a close liaison with the Disability Employment Officer of the local jobcentre as well as with Community Network (London Borough of Barnet Mental Health Services), Barnet College and Southgate College.

Whichever route is taken, the education and employment programmes are tailored to suit individual resident’s needs.
